MARTINEZ -- Mary Jane Martinez, 95, passed away September 17, 2010 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Gil Martinez Sr.; and her oldest son, Gil Martinez Jr. She is survived by her children: Fred and Theresa Martinez, Frank Bobby and Arlene Martinez, Maria Martinez and Chris Carpenter; Mary left a legacy of 12 grandchildren; 26 great-children; and eight great-great-children. A special thanks to Orlando and Lydia Romero, Julie Seibert, Yvonne Maestas, Jodie Leigh Seibert-Rael, Jason Gil Bear, Joylynn Martinez and the nurses and staff at Zia Hospice for their loving care in her final days. The Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00 p.m., September 19, 2010 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE, and the Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:00 a.m., September 20, 2010 also at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
