BURDITCH -- Nathan Burditch, a resident of Albuquerque, and former resident of Santa Fe, NM, died on September 9, 2010. He moved from Chesterbrook, PA in 1966. A veteran of the US Army, he is survived by his loving and devoted spouse of 55 years, Marylin Geraldine Stein Burditch of Albuquerque, NM, who will sadly miss him; caring and devoted children, Paul Stewart Burditch of San Francisco, CA and Alyssa Beth Burditch of Carmel Valley, CA; proud grandson, Jason Burditch McKenzie of Carmel Valley, CA; sister, Evelyn Ann Burditch of California, and his best friend, LuLu. Mr. Burditch was a businessman for almost 50 years starting with his companies, Strafford Builders and Parkway Fund Company in Philadelphia, PA and Town and Country Restoration, Philadelphia, PA. His talents earned him the high level of expertise to construct multi-level homes and historical renovations including Hidden Lane Farms, Amityville, PA, circa 1718, which was on the Historical Trail in the Bicentennial Issue of Reader's Digest, 1976. He was an associate with Builders Direct and The Window Connection in Albuquerque, NM. He gained the admiration and respect of all of his clients. His passion for animals included raising Arabian horses, his Wire Fox Terriers, Old English Sheep Dogs, and all other farm animals. An avid reader, his interest in sports and his business prowess gave him the link to make him admired and respected by all he met. Friends are welcome to come to the National Cemetery in Santa Fe on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 1:30p.m. where Rabbi Howard Kosovske of Temple Albert in Albuquerque will officiate.
