TORRES -- Steven "Steve" Marc Torres, age 39, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, went home to be with his Lord, on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Steve was born on April 26, 1971 and was life long resident of Albuquerque. Steve was the owner of Torres Drywall. He was an avid fisherman and Chargers fan. Steve was known for his kind, caring, loving, and generous heart, wonderful sense of humor, sparkling smile and love of live. Steve left a lasting impression on all who knew him and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mannie and Edward. Steve is survived by his loving parents, Manuel and Evelyn Torres; his brother Michael; his sisters, Margaret Sanchez and husband Alex and Stella Archibeque and husband Marvin; nephew Alex Sanchez, Jr.; nieces, April Muller and husband Juan, Kristal Sanchez and Alvida Archibeque; great-nephew and niece, Xavier and Shyana Muller. Visitations will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services- Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1860 Griegos Rd., NW. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Alex Sanchez, Jr., Alex Sanchez, Sr., Marvin Archibeque, Juan Muller, Larry Torres, Malcolm Chavez and George Aragon.
