MARTINEZ -- Gilbert Martinez, born March 31, 1938 passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 72. Gilbert is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Martinez; sons Gilbert Charles and David Martinez; daughter Anna Garcia; eight grandchildren, Raquel, Christopher, Isaac, Roxanne, Gabriel, Ashley, Juliana, and Anthony; siblings Robert Martinez, Georgia Montoya, Evelyn Chavez, and Dora Williams. Viewing will be held at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, Tuesday August 3, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Church, 300 Mildred Ave (near 4th & Candelaria). Celebration Mass will be held on Wednesday August 4, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Therese. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
