RIVERA -- Marc Rivera, age 41, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2010. He was a kind, loving, sunny and humorous soul. He had a wonderful little giggle that endeared him to everyone around him. When he hugged you, you knew that he really meant it. He missed his father, Robert, who preceded him recently in death, along with his beloved Naney. He leaves behind his Mom, Geraldine Rivera, and her husband Bill Deaton; brother, Jeffrey Bowerman; aunts and uncles, Charlotte and Ken Walton, Beatriz Rivera, and David Rivera; cousins; special friends, Eric Rude, Allen Hunter, Monica Rivera and Yvonne Sanchez; Glena Knisley; and his "baby" Hurley, the Jack Russell. He will be forever in our hearts. Holy Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE at 10:00 a.m. on July 28, 2010. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Animal Humane Society of New Mexico.
