KARCH -- Paula (Velarde) Karch, went to be with the Lord on Monday July 19, 2010. She was the daughter of Zacarias and Virginia Velarde, of Velarde, NM. Paula is survived by her sisters, Eloise Workings and husband John, Laura McCullar, Mary Lou Ring and Ella Miller; brother, Arthur Velarde; step-son Jim Karch and stepdaughter, Geraldine Ford; and many loving nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col Ernest M. Karch; her parents; three sisters, Bertha Snow, Elvira Varela, and Aurora Medina; and brothers Ambrose and Isidor Velarde. Paula was a fun-loving gal who was always joking and playing tricks. We will miss you Polly. Rosary will be recited for Paula on Friday July 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. followed by Mass and entombment at 1:30 p.m. at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE.
