BALDONADO -- Rose Baldonado, 67, loving wife, mother, sister, and special friend was peacefully lifted from her surrounding family's arms and gracefully placed in the loving arms of Our Lord and Savior on June 27, 2010 after a brief illness. Rose is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years Eugene "Baldy" Baldonado, a retired Lieutenant of the Albuquerque Fire Department; daughter, Darla Baldonado; sons, Lawrence Baldonado and Mark Baldonado; sisters, Teresa Benavidez and Priscilla Marquez; close personal friend of the family Wendy May Ingram; and so many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephita Marquez; father, Donicio Marquez; brother, Donicio Marquez Jr.; sisters, Lupe Blea, Frances Garcia and Margaret Chavez. We all will be walking with heavy hearts due to our tremendous loss but know she is in Heaven with the Angels she so adored. She will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts and we all know our lives were more enjoyable just for having known her. The Baldonado family would like to extend a special thanks to Rose's nieces who have made her passing a bit easier by taking on the responsibilities of preparing and catering the reception to be held after she has been laid to rest as well as all those who prayed for Rose and her Family during this emotionally difficult period in their lives. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Parish located at 300 Mildred Ave. NW. The Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010, 9:30 a.m. at St. Therese Parish. Pallbearers are Lorenzo Baldonado, Jr., Jose Salaz, Toby Garcia, Mark Baldonado, Lawrence Baldonado and Andres Guillermo.
