LUKS -- Andy W. Luks, age 69, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010, in a tragic vehicle accident on Hwy 285, north of Artesia, NM. He lived in Albuquerque, NM for ten years and prior to that lived in Las Cruces, NM. Andy proudly served his country in the United States in the Army Special Forces as a medic. He was a bodyguard whose clients included Elvis Presley. Andy had been Sergeant at Arms for Post Number 99 American Legion in Albuquerque. Andy is survived by his loving wife, Linda Luks of Albuquerque; and Linda's sister and her husband, Sandy Schauer and Bob Anderson of Los Lunas, NM.
