CARTY -- Charles Carty passed away peacefully on May 4, 2010 at 88 years of age, after living a very full life. Charles proudly served as a Navy pilot in WWII, while stationed in the South Pacific. He later worked for Ford Motor Company for more than 30 years as an engineer and helped design the original Ford Mustang. After retiring from Ford, Charles enjoyed traveling as a judge in the Antique Automobile Club of America for many years. Charles is survived by his wife, Jean Carty who also served in the military during WWII as a part of the Women's Army Corps. Charles will be greatly missed by his children and grandchildren, as well as his many friends. Services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Sombra Del Monte church at 2:00 pm, located at 2525 Vermont NE. Those who wish to send condolences may do so at www.danielsfuneral.com.
