BROCK -- Frances S. Brock, 101, died May 6, 2010. She was born near Washington, Pennsylvania on September 2, 1908. She was a secondary math teacher in both Pennsylvania and Idaho before moving to Albuquerque in 1992 to be near her daughter Susan Hunt and her husband Ken. She was a long-time resident of the La Vida Llena Retirement Community. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie; and by six brothers; and three sisters. A memorial service is pending and will be held at La Vida Llena on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the La Vida Llena Employee Appreciation Fund (10501 Lagrima de Oro NE, Albuquerque. NM 87111) in recognition of the outstanding care provided during her years of residency, to the Leslie Van Horn and Frances S. Brock Endowment at the College of Idaho (2112 Cleveland Blvd., Caldwell, ID 83605), or to an educational institution of your choice in her memory.
