KINNEY -- Forest "Tom" Kinney, 86, a long time resident of Albuquerque, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 3, 2010. Tom was born on April 5, 1923 in Lansing, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Opal Kinney; and three brothers. Tom is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pat; daughters, Pamela Reed and husband Earl and their sons, Thomas and Timothy; and Carol Cunningham and husband John and their daughter Stephanie all of Albuquerque; and many nieces, nephews and cousins all from Michigan. Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend; he will be missed by all his family and many friends. Tom was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. Tom retired after 21 years at UNM Children's Psychiatry Hospital and other departments. He enjoyed working on family genealogy, enjoying his grandkids, and being a greeter at Sandia Baptist Church for many years. His family wants to thank Hospice of the Sandias for all the love and wonderful care they gave to Tom and his family. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, April 8, 2010, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at French Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Funeral services will be Friday, April 9, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution NE. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Sandia Baptist Building Fund or to the charity of your choice. Cremation will follow the service. Interment will be Saturday, April 10, 2010, 2:00 p.m. Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE with military honors.
