SCHNAUBERT -- Dwayne F. Schnaubert, 81, born in Balmorhea, TX to Arthur and Allie Schnaubert and grew up in McCamey, TX, died March 29, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary F. Bird of Post, TX; his daughters, Joyce Jones, Deborah Hayes; and Mary's children, Gary Don Rauch MD and wife, Roz and Frances Annette Rauch; grandchildren, Michelle Dominguez and husband David, Christopher Jones and wife Cynthia, Hollie Baumann, Beth Ann Lessig, Shawn Dickson and wife Sally Salazar, Jonathan and Jason Pratti; and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Josie Brown and husband Harold of San Angelo, TX; and his first wives brothers, Frank Farrow and wife Virginia of Midland, TX and James Farrow and wife Shirley of Livingston, TX and many other family and friends. Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Beverly; and his daughter Patricia. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for over 40 years before retiring, was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years, the Ballut Abyad Shrine, was active in the Baptist church as teacher and music director at one time and several other community organizations. Graveside Services will be Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:30 am, at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. Visitation will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch.
