BARNHART -- Gloria J. Barnhart, 74, surrounded by her family, passed on to join her son, Robert, on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Roger (Buck) Barnhart; her daughter, Gerri Ann Barnhart; and daughter-in-law Chris Dahl; brother John R. Richards and wife Beth and their 11 children; sister-in-law, Cathy Barnhart; nieces: Amy Barnhart-Hatch, Sandy Andrews, Sharon Dodge and husband Anthony; nephews: Charles R. Barnhart, David Barnhart, and Joe Barnhart. Gloria grew up in Tacoma, Washington, the daughter of Andrew and Mae Richards and, after her mother's death, was lovingly raised by Ann Williams. Gloria attended the University of Washington and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She happily devoted her life to family and home and shared her love of children, dogs, gardening, and swimming with all around her. Her sense of humor and quick wit kept all who knew her on their toes. A private celebration of Gloria's life with her family and close friends will be held on her birthday.
