MAYHEW -- David Allan Mayhew, Sr. 83, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, March 6, 2010 with his loving family at his side. David was born on July 13, 1926 in Sioux City, Iowa, to Arthur and Elizabeth Mayhew. He was preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers; and sister. David is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jo Ann Mayhew; his children, David Mayhew, Jr. and his wife, Christine of Kingwood, TX, son, Donald Mayhew and wife, Teri of Albuquerque and daughter, Kathleen Brogdon and husband, Mike of Bosque Farms, NM; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of David's life will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at St. Stephens United Methodist Church, 4601 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE at 2:00 p.m. The family wishes to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Michael Harding, Dr. Derrick Lee and the caring staff of Presbyterian Hospital. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of David Mayhew to the charity of your choice. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
