WATTS -- Edith J. Watts, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. She is survived by six daughters, Dorothy Watkins, Louise (Richard) Babb, Carol (French) Clevenger, Joyce (John) Long, Linda (Steven) Burkett, Frances Watts; nineteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Walter Robert Watts; daughter, Mary Ellen Watts; son-in-law, Kenneth Watkins; and two great-grandchildren, Patrick Garcia and Jordan Juarez. Edith was born in Bloomington, IL to Harry and Eva Pearl Monkman in 1926. Edith married Walter Robert in 1941. After raising their family they moved to Albuquerque in 1973. In later years she moved to Sayre, OK where she passed away. A service will be held at French - University Chapel, on Saturday, February 13, 2010, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends and extended family one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
