SMITH -- Samantha Jo Smith, 21, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 30, 2010. She is survived by her parents, Linda and Mickey Smith; brother, John; aunts and uncles, Mike and Beverly Adcock, Rick and Beverly Smith, Ronny Smith, Kenny and Carolyn Arrington, Dennis Arrington, Benny and Darla Hedges, David and Renee Simpson, Don and Donna Simpson, and Donna Simpson; 21 cousins; 21 second cousins; nine great-aunts and great-uncles; and numerous other relatives and friends. Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Doris Rogers, Carl Smith, and Don and Beverly Simpson. She worked for the US Forest Service for 2 1/2 years and was pursuing an Associate Degree in Business Administration. Samantha was a big Facebook fan, loved listening to music and spending time with her loving family and friends. She also tremendously enjoyed online shopping. Samantha touched many people's hearts and will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved her, including her Forest Service family. Friends may visit on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at French ~ Lomas Chapel. A celebration of Samantha's life will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at the American Legion Post #49, 11005 Central Ave NE.
