ARAGON -- Pauline S. Aragon, 74, resident of Santa Fe, NM, peacefully joined our Lord and Savior, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Erlinda Sandoval; her son, David Aragon; and in-laws, Joe V. Aragon and Oli Sanchez. Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Rafael Aragon Jr.; sons Leroy and wife, Grace, Michael and wife, Sylvia, Ralph and wife, Anna, Peter and wife, Carmela; daughter-in-law, Rose; her sister, Marcela Sandoval and John Serino and family; brother, Dennis Sandoval and wife, Paula LeSueur and family; her brother, Leo and wife, Sharon Sandoval and family; in-laws, Beatrice Sais, Lucy Wortman, Bob Arias, Fidel and wife, Sylvia Aragon, Aurelia Aragon of Los Lunas Pat and wife, Jo Ann Aragon from Santa Fe, Tony Sanchez of Belen; grandchildren, Carlos, Miguel, Ricardo, Joslynn Aragon de Herrera and husband, Nic, Antonio, Miriam, Erin, Alicia, and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Emma, Mateo and Vincent. BANKER -- Carl David Banker, age 61, passed away January 29, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He was born to Bertha Decatur Banker and Paul Comer Banker, in Cheverly, Maryland, on December 24, 1948. Carl graduated from Nicholas Blackwell High School in Bartlett, TN in 1967. He also attended the Univ. of Tennessee in Martin,TN. Carl served in the United States Army and fought in Vietnam from 1969-1970 and was stationed in Germany from 1970-1971. He is a decorated Vietnam veteran. Carl worked for General Motors for over 30 years and retired in 2008. He also had the honor of carrying the Olympic Torch in San Diego, CA in 2002. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Katherine; four children, Kathy Stephens, of Huntsville, Alabama; son, Richard Banker, his wife, Katherine, and their son, Ian, of Bernalillo, NM; daughter, Karen Collins, her husband, Roy, and their three children, Jonathan, Lauren and Aaron of Woodhaven, MI; son, Carl David, his wife, Monica, and their two children, Lance and Kailey of Wesley Chapel, FL.; sister, Patricia Duke, and her husband, Kevin, of Wynne, AR; and best friend of 47 years, Keith Ferrell, of Hernando, MS. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Research Department (gastric cancer/GIST) in Carl D. DELANEY -- Rev. Hugh E. Delaney laid aside his cane and walked through heaven's gate early Sunday morning, January 31, 2010, one month after celebrating his 98th birthday. Hugh was born outside Hartford, KY on January 1, 1912, the youngest child of William Delaney and Janie Bennett Delaney. He attended Bowling Green Business University, where in 1931 he met C. Lee Olliff, whom he would marry fifteen years later. A graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary, Hugh served as pastor for a total of 20 Methodist churches in Kentucky beginning in 1944. Although he officially retired in 1978 at age 66, he continued to pastor full-time until 2003 at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church near Nicholasville, KY. When he finally stepped out of the pulpit at age 91, he was the longest-serving minister in the Kentucky Conference. Having spent two years as an invalid with tuberculosis and then rheumatic fever during his twenties, he thanked God that during 59 years of ministry he was out of the pulpit just three Sundays as a result of illness. He often said he loved every day he spent in the ministry. Lee Delaney, his wife of 59 years, died in 2005. He is survived by his two sons, Paul and Harold; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. His son Paul teaches at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, where he lives with his wife Dianne. His granddaughter Elizabeth, married to Kevin Hess, and great-grandson Liam also live in Santa Barbara. His grandson Arthur lives in Portland, OR. His son Harold teaches at the University of New Mexico and lives outside Albuquerque with his wife Nancy. His grandson Ben lives in Boulder, CO with wife Megan, and great-grandchildren Caleb and Stella. His granddaughter Sarah lives in Lexington, KY with husband Ty Camp and great-grandson Jonah. His grandson Jesse also lives in Lexington with wife Nicole. Hugh spent the last two years of his life in Albuquerque, New Mexico. GARCIA -- Alfredo Garcia went to meet his creator on January 31, 2010. A lifelong resident of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, he was born on May 23, 1919 to Gabriel and Elvira Garcia. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and three brothers, Telesfor, Roman and Luis Garcia. Alfredo is survived by his wife of 61 years, Eloisa G. Garcia; special nephew, David Duran; brothers, Luciano and wife, Annabel, Ermengildo, Abel and wife, Lucille, Gabriel and wife, Betty; three sisters, Stella Chavez and husband, Prospero, Julia Lechuga, and Rosalina Garcia; and sisters-in-law, Rita Garcia, Julia Garcia, Rebecca Rodriguez and husband, Fabian, and Virginia Montoya and husband, Elias. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Alfredo was a veteran of World War II who saw combat with the 45th Division in Sicily, Italy, Southern France and Germany. He retired after many years from Bradbury Stamm Construction. He was actively involved with the Democratic Party, serving as precinct and ward chairman for over 35 years. He later served as a Trustee (3/76 through 3/88) and ultimately as Mayor (3/88 through 3/92) for the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. He was a lifelong member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and assisted in the remodeling of Mount Carmel Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 69 and the Elks Club. Alfredo also enjoyed hunting, fishing and making wine. Alfredo Garcia was a mentor to many who loved him greatly. He will be missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Services for Mr. Garcia will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church with a Rosary to be recited at 8:00 a.m. and celebration of the Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Garcia, Russell Chavez, Gilbert Lechuga, Orlando J. Montoya, Herman Pedroncelli and Tony Rodriguez. GARCIA -- Marcelino Madril "Moose" Garcia, born June 23, 1929 passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January 29, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen Zamora Garcia and his children, Judy Jiron and husband Bob, Leonard Garcia and wife Lala, Vicki Garcia, Dan Garcia and wife Jennifer; grandchildren Krishna, Michelle, Josh, Christina, Matthew, Danielle, Aidan and Miranda; great-grandchildren Jacob and Jenika. Marci was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Fermina Garcia, siblings Melina Chavez, Emilia Chavez and Pricilla Gabaldon. Marci was born in Belen, New Mexico. He lived and raised his family in Albuquerque where he worked at Kirtland AFB as a high voltage Electrician. After 25 yrs of service at the base he and Helen retired and moved to Elephant Butte, in 1989. GARCIA -- Tersila (Terry) M. Garcia passed away on January 30, 2010 surrounded by her loving husband Ross, of 52 years and her family. She lived most of her life as a resident of ABQ. NM. She was born in Contreras, NM to Antonia and Hermenes Martinez. Tersila was a registered nurse at Pres/Kaseman Hospital and also for APS. She was also a member of the St. Bernadette's Altar-Rosary Society and a Eucharistic Minister. Tersila is survived by her husband Ross B. Garcia; her children, Ross A. Garcia, Annamarie and husband Kenneth Watson, Herman and wife Kirsten Garcia, Andrew and wife Glenda Garcia, Martha and husband Phil Perez. Grandchildren Lisa, Cynthia, Charlie, Jayson, and Nicole, Stacey, Rebekah, Elijah, Chelsea, Carleigh; and great-grand daughters, Gabrielle and Taylor; sisters, Lorencita Griego and Celia Spurlin. GOLDMAN -- Stephen Goldman, age 58, beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend, caught the tail of the comet and headed for the cosmos on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 following a lengthy and difficult struggle with leukemia. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Rebecca Goldman. He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Cynthy; sisters and brother-in-law Joan and Sam Ginsburg of NY and Barbara Goldman of Santa Fe; brother, Martin Goldman and sister-in-law, Margaret Barr of Berkeley, CA; He leaves behind nieces and nephews, Adam and Kara, Karen and Jeremy, Sarony and Uri, Cody and Tricia, Danielle and Nick, Lisa, and Michael and Susan; in addition to several great-nieces and nephews. Steve graduated from UNM in 1979 with an accounting degree and became a CPA, but his real love was creating great pottery that came to be known as Laughing Goat Pottery. Steve, we will miss your kind and generous heart, your energy (especially when dancing wild polkas with Cynthy), your beautiful soul, the sparkle in your eyes, and especially, that amazing and wonderful laugh,uniquely yours, that endeared you to the many, many people whose lives you touched. Your resonating honesty, fervent belief in outerspace beings, lack of a scintilla of materialism, brilliant mathematical mind and belief in helping anyone who needed it, all combined to make your radiating uniqueness unforgettable and forever. KENNETT -- Norris Whitson Kennett, 88, of Albuquerque, NM, died at home Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 10:04 am after a year-long struggle with colon cancer. Norris was born January 8, 1922, in Mortons Gap, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents Milburn Lindsay "Boots" and Mary Susan (Boyd) Kennett; and his older sister Gaynell Whitfield. He was a wonderful husband and father and is survived by Lillian Joyce (Story) Kennett, his wife of 61 years; and their son Roger Whitson Kennett and his wife Heidi Snow, all of Albuquerque, and his sister Patsy Ann Higdon of Madisonville, KY. After serving in the Army on Hawaii during WWII, Norris migrated to Wayne, MI to work in the auto industry rather than the coal mines as did his father. It was in Wayne that he met and married Joyce. He retired to Phoenix, AZ in 1984 from Ford Motor Company after 30 years at Dearborn, MI. He and Joyce moved to Albuquerque in 1998. Visitation will be Friday, February 5, 2010, 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. LUCERO -- Luciano Lucero, Sr., age 95, a life long resident of Bernalillo, NM, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 after a short illness. He retired from the New Mexico Timber in Bernalillo after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Sandoval County Sheriffs Posse all his life, which gave him the opportunity of do what he enjoyed doing, riding his horse. Mr. Lucero was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lugarita Lucero; children, Fedila and Angie Lucero, Tony, Ignacio, Luciano Jr., and Lorenzo Lucero Sr.; a granddaughter, Connie Lucero-Ortiz; son-in-law, Benny King; and daughter-in-law, Helen Lucero. He is survived by his loving children, Isabel Moreno and husband Juan of Bernalillo, NM, Irene King, Dorothy Benavidez and husband Marty of Albuquerque, Ramon and Ronnie Lucero of Bernalillo, and Louie Lucero and wife Margarita of California; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his daughter-in-laws, Patsy Lucero of Albuquerque, Gladys Lucero of Rio Rancho, and Mela Lucero of California; his brother, Reynaldo Lucero and wife Lucy of Albuquerque; and other numerous relatives and friends. Mr. Lucero will be greatly missed by all. MALDONADO -- Constance "Connie" 52, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 28, 2010. A lifetime resident of Albuquerque, Connie was born on June 3, 1957. MANCHEGO -- Eduardo "Ed" Jose Manchego, 76, peacefully passed away at his home in Moriarty, NM on Friday, January 29, 2010. Eduardo was born on July 10, 1933 in Narango, NM to Domingo and Matilda (Garcia) Manchego. Ed lived in Moriarty since 1985 coming from Santa Fe, NM. Ed was an active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 10835. He was involved in many church ministries including Extra Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion, and training of altar servers. Ed is survived by his wife, Judith (Guthrie) Manchego; daughters, Patti Jo Wagner of Canon City, CO, Marietta Margaret Carrey of Bloomfield, NM, Judith Roseanne Hall of Denver, CO and Donelle Judean Maul of Loveland, CO; brother, Ralph Manchego of Albuquerque; sisters, Rose Cordova of Moriarty, Virginia Sanchez of Albuquerque, and Imelda Murray of NJ; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Edward Joseph Manchego who passed away in 1976; and his daughter Jana Lee Manchego who passed away in 1983. There will be a Rosary recited at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty with Rev. Fr. MARCUS -- Edward Marcus, 91, passed away January 30, 2010 at Princeton Place where he had been a resident for four year. He was born September 18, 1918 in Glen Cove, Long Island, New York. Ed was an Army retiree of 23 years, retiring in 1966. While in the Army he was captured in Germany and was a P.O.W. for six months before he and other soldiers were liberated. He and his wife, Mary, returned to Albuquerque where he worked at Creamland until retiring from there. He lost his wife Mary in 1981. He kept a garden, flower beds, fed the birds and captured children's hearts by keeping a steady supply of soda and candy. He and Maria married in 1988. Soon after, they joined 7th. Armored Division and traveled yearly to Association gatherings. They enjoyed these trips making new friends and, Ed running into some old Army buddies. Soon, Ed's health prevented them from continuing these trips. He spent days at the VA, playing pool, watching TV and other activities. He had lost his parents, brothers and sisters. He is survived his wife Maria; stepchildren, William and his wife, Willie Mora; Eileen and her husband Cliff Daniel and Air Force retiree MSGT Anita L. Cortez; six step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and one on the way. He leaves many nieces and nephews in New York who he loved dearly and when he could, traveled to visit them. He had a very active life, enjoying the casino, seeing the Dukes play and the horse races. Sleep well Ed, your days of pain are over and you'll meet again with your family, which I know you will treasure. Lord grant him eternal peace. MORGAN -- Frances (Fran) M. Morgan, 92, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010 after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Douglas W. Morgan. She is survived by her sons, Robert S. Morgan and wife, JoAnne of Tucson, AZ; Douglas W. Morgan, Jr. and wife Barbara of Albuquerque; and her daughter Nancy R. Adzija and husband, Michael of San Antonio, TX; grandson Aric S. Morgan, and wife Julie; granddaughters, Meredith M. Morgan, Crystal R. Adzija, Aubree M. Adzija, and Carrie L. Morgan; great-grandchildren Charley, Thomas, Carolyn and Alexander. Frances was born in Lynn, MA. She married Douglas on June 14th, 1940 and moved to Los Alamos while Doug was serving in the Army. Fran worked for the City of Albuquerque and was instrumental in developing the City of Albuquerque Tennis Program that introduced thousands of people to "the game." Anyone that knew Fran knew that she was the life of the party, with a sassy sense of humor. Fran loved doing puzzles and was a huge supporter of the Animal Human Society. Private graveside services will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery. NEVADA -- Emily Nevada, 85, born September 14, 1924 to Edwardo and Antonia Salazar, went home to be with her loving husband of 62 years, Henry Nevada on Friday, January 29, 2010. Emily is survived by her three children, Emily Nolan of Frederick, CO, Ernie Nevada and wife, Petra, and Phil Nevada and wife, Veronica, all of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren, Bradley Nolan and wife, Kelly, Scott Nolan, Ryan Nolan, Robert Nevada, Eric Nevada, Elizabeth Nevada, Jarrod Loretto and wife, Shaylene, Michelle Kaemerer and husband, John, Phillip Nevada, Jason Clapp and wife, Pamela and Justin Clapp; ten great-grandchildren, Jackson, Natalie, Cheyanne, Jaiden, Jaislyn, Jordan, Leah, Patrick, Taylor and Kelsey; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; parents, Edwardo and Antonia Salazar; brothers, Eloy, Sam and Edward; and sister, Alice. Early on Emily was a home maker but eventually was owner/operator of "Emily's Maternity Fashions". She enjoyed hosting dinner parties at her home for friends and family. Her homemade meals will certainly be missed by all who frequented her table. NOBLES -- Mrs. Claudia Ann Nobles, born June 1, 1935 in San Francisco CA. Parents were Rowland A. and Jean M. Boone. Claudia was raised as an Air Force Brat in: Hemet, CA; San Antonio, TX; Long Island, NY; and Colorado Springs, CO (where she graduated from high school). After high school, Claudia attended secretarial school, honing her typing and shorthand skills. She obtained a secretary job for the Safety Office at Hamilton AFB, in San Rafael, CA, where she met her husband Bobbie Nobles. She and Bobbie married in the Hamilton AFB Chapel, then they spent the next three years in Europe. Claudia supported her husband through three other overseas tours by raising their son, David "Gary" Nobles. Claudia continued using her secretarial and administrative talents in various schools and doctors offices and also volunteered in administrative jobs with bowling leagues, refugee programs and officers wives clubs. Claudia also ran the administration department of Nobles Tax Service. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bobbie Nobles, and one son, David "Gary" Nobles, who lives in Rio Rancho with his wife Sherry. ROE -- Stephen L. Roe 63, passed on peacefully at his home on Friday January 29, 2010. Steve is survived by his wife Rose; and four children he loved and considered as his own. Carlos, Rodney and wife Devyn, Yvonne, and Yvette and husband Jonathan. Next to being a wonderful husband, Steve's greatest joy was being a grandfather to nine grandchildren. Andrew B., Mykayla L., Rose B., Dominic B., Diandra B., Kimberly E, Timothy L., Lennox B., Gabrail B. Also survived by his brothers, Russel Roe and wife Elisa, Jerry Roe; and sister Susie Moore; nephew John Roe; and niece Jennifer; mother-in-law Dora; two brother-in-laws, Joe and Jerry; three sister-in-laws, Antonita Jackson, Priscilla Martinez, Bernadette Zamora and husband George. Steve was deeply loved by Family and friends, Co-workers at Wal-Mart. Steve always had a big "Howdy" for everyone. He enjoyed and had a green thumb with his garden and fruit trees. SANCHEZ-DAVIS -- Ishmael L. Smokey, 80, passed Wednesday, January 27, 2010 after a lengthy illness with Parkinson's. He was also a cancer survivor. Smokey was preceded in death by his parents, Lucy Davis and Ishmael Sanchez. He retired as Director and Regional Director of HUD/FHA; and throughout his life and career served as a volunteer on numerous Boards and Committees. Most recently, he served as a Board Member of the Albuquerque Museum Foundation, the US New Mexico Federal Credit Union for more than 35-years, and the City of Albuquerque Police Oversight Committee. Smokey was especially proud to have been one of the original organizers of the City of Albuquerque Founders Day Celebrations; and his time in the NM House of Representatives. He was a Deputy Assessor with the Bernalillo County Assessor's Office, a member of the UNM Lobo Club, and served on a Vocational Rehabilitation Committee for the State of NM. He took great pleasure in having lunch with the retired APS Counselors too! He was a graduate of St. Michael's High School in Santa Fe; a graduate of The College of St Joseph's on the Rio Grande and attended UNM Law School. Smokey is survived by his wife of forever, Prestina Sanchez-Davis; his daughters Brenda Sanchez-Davis and Samina Sanchez-Davis; and his five grand cats. Pallbearers include Michael Davis, Richard Davis, Vicki Pollack, Georgette Jaurequi, Gary Mendiola, Rick Maldonado, Michael Brunacini, and Lew Seebinger. SMITH -- Samantha Jo Smith, 21, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 30, 2010. She is survived by her parents, Linda and Mickey Smith; brother, John; aunts and uncles, Mike and Beverly Adcock, Rick and Beverly Smith, Ronny Smith, Kenny and Carolyn Arrington, Dennis Arrington, Benny and Darla Hedges, David and Renee Simpson, Don and Donna Simpson, and Donna Simpson; 21 cousins; 21 second cousins; nine great-aunts and great-uncles; and numerous other relatives and friends. Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Doris Rogers, Carl Smith, and Don and Beverly Simpson. She worked for the US Forest Service for 2 1/2 years and was pursuing an Associate Degree in Business Administration. Samantha was a big Facebook fan, loved listening to music and spending time with her loving family and friends. She also tremendously enjoyed online shopping. She was preceded in death by her father, Bonifacio Sandoval; her mother, Mercedes Lujan; sister, Louise Sandoval; brothers, Joseph Sandoval and Santiago Sandoval; nephews, Phillip Sandoval and Larry Mares. She is survived by her husband, Bernie D. Valdez; her son, Bernard P. Valdez; brother, Bonifacio (Beatrice) Sandoval; sister-in-law, Mary Naranjo; nieces: Bonnie Bea Gibbons (Richard), Julie Roybal (Jimmy), Christine Sandoval, Jean Mary Burt (Dave), Linda Sandoval, Roberta Marquez (Gilbert), Marline Medrano (Robert), Janet Romero (Chris) and Nancy Cravens (Todd); nephews: Joseph L. Sandoval (Delfina), Victor Sandoval (Karen), Denis Mares (Adela), Mark Mares (Pauline), Brian Mares, Ronnie Valdez, Leroy Valdez (Yvonne) and Jason Naranjo (Cindy); and her daughter in spirit, Hollie Tanabe; numerous other relatives and friends. She married Bernie D. Valdez in Santa Fe, NM on November 11, 1961. She was a graduate of Loretto Academy and was a thirty year member of the Catholic Daughters as the first elected regent of the Saint Elizabeth Court. She was also a thirty year volunteer for the St. John's Soup Kitchen. She belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was past president of the Womens Auxiliary. She also belonged to the fraternal order of the Eagles, and was a former Chaplain of REAC of Eagles Club. Frances held positions as: a Candy Clerk for Taicherts Five and Dime; a clerk for the Welfare Department; an item processor for First National Bank of Santa Fe; office clerk for Selective Service; Account Supervisor for the Bureau of Land management, information specialist and land law examiner for BLM from 1955 to 1981. She loved dancing, bowling, fishing, camping and having lunch with the Birthday group. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Carmelite Monastery or St. Johns Soup Kitchen. VIGIL -- Lena T. Vigil, 80 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 29, 2010. Born in Torrreon, New Mexico, on September 23, 1929, she was the last surviving member of the Montoya-Torres family. Lena was a long time resident of Albuquerque's North Valley. She was preceded in death by Richard J. Vigil her loving husband of 43 years; her mother Mercedes M. Torres; and father Flavio Torres; brothers and sisters, Felicita Lucero, Delia Trujillo, Antonia Garley, Pedro Torres, Lugardita Torres and Cipranita Trujillo. Lena is survived by her son Gerald Vigil and wife Linda; daughter Nadine Padilla and husband Fred, daughter Lorie Cognion and Ed. Grandchildren Steven Padilla and fiance Kim, Justin Vigil and Emma, Diana Padilla, Derrick Cognion, Matthew Cognion, special friend Colton Mighetto and proud great-grandmother to Richard Frank Padilla. Lena was also madrina, tia and Mama Lena to many loving nieces, nephews, and children who over the years were fortunate to have her as a baby sitter and friend. WHISTON -- Frank K. Whiston passed away peacefully at home January 30, 2010. Frank was born March 26, 1916 and was proceeded in death by his wife Mary E. Whiston; and his parents, Franklin P. and Minnie Mae Whiston. Frank is survived by four children: Frank R. Whiston and wife Donna, Donald Whiston, Thomas Whiston, Lynn Wallace and husband Kendall. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great -great - grandchildren. Frank was a member of the Local Lodge 794 of the Machinist Union and worked as a Machinist until his retirement from General Electric. Frank was a US Veteran and will be buried at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

YOUNGBERG -- Eric Andrew Youngberg, 43, passed away peacefully at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on January 28, 2010. Eric was born in Albuquerque on January 26, 1967, and has now rejoined his father, Ralph Charles Youngberg. Eric was a true friend to many and loved laughter, whether by physical comedy or a well-turned phrase. Eric's keen wit and relentless logic allowed him to cut red tape with just a few words-he made casual conversations more focused, poignant and important. Eric worked as a real estate developer and investor. His passions included golfing, traveling, music, and art-Eric had an undeniable zest for life. Eric graduated from Albuquerque Academy in 1985, and received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in accounting from the University of Southern California. He also earned his law degree from the University of New Mexico. Active in his community, Eric served Bernalillo and Sandoval counties in the New Mexico House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. Representative Youngberg served as Co-Chairman of the Historic Impeachment Commission. He was also an active member of New Mexico Amigos. Eric is survived by his mother, Janet Youngberg; his brother, Leif Craig Youngberg, sister-in-law Kathrin, nephews Niklas Ralph and Alek Charles; his sister, Kristin Marette Youngberg, and nephew, Erik Karl. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, at 2:00 p.m at First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque (215 Locust Street NE).
