CANNIZZARO -- Paul Cannizzaro was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 18, 1946. He moved to Albuquerque in 1977 and loved every minute he lived here. Paul owned Advantage Temporary Staffing from 1987 - 2000. He died on Sunday, January 24, 2010 from complications of Alzheimer's Disease which he courageously fought the last ten years of his life. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Maria; his sister-in-law, Tricy; his nephew, Christopher; and numerous cousins. He will be greatly missed by his three beloved dogs, Buffy, Petie and Buddy, who were always by his side. Many thanks to his wonderful caregivers, Diana, Juana and Lisa, who lovingly took care of him during the last two years and to Sonya and Marissa of Heartland Hospice who guided him through the last 2 1/ 2 months. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010, 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY.
