STONE -- Mary Angelina Stone was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico April 24, 1937 to Cayetano and Alcarita Bustos. She graduated from Robertson High School in 1956. She married Francis (Frank) R. Stone in November 1956. They met in Las Vegas, NM while he was stationed at the Air Force Base in Roswell, NM. She lived briefly in the Philippines, Abilene and El Paso, TX before settling down in Albuquerque, NM in 1965. Her husband retired from the Air Force in 1975. Through all Mary's medical trials and tribulations, Frank was a faithful caregiver and loyal husband to the day that her Lord took her home. Mary loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and loved reading her Bible and telling others about the good news, the Gospel of Christ, until the day she went to live in God's Kingdom to live with Christ forever, on Wednesday, January 20, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Francis Stone; her daughter and son-in-law, Claudia and Jeffrey McGrew; her son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Jodie Stone; and her son and daughter in law, Wesley Kent and Lynda Stone. She has five grandchildren, Geremy Stone, Joshua McGrew, Alex McGrew, Zachary Stone and Emily Stone. She is survived by her sisters, Aurora Baca, Albuquerque, NM, Margaret Ludi, Las Vegas, NM, Adeline Edwards, Albuquerque, NM, Stella Falter, Albuquerque, NM, Ada Simons, Belen, NM and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cayetano and Alcarita Bustos; sisters, Agnes Sandhoff, Teresa Valerio, Dorothy Pfeiffer; and her niece, Ada Rae Simons. All services will be held at French's Mortuary located at 10,500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. The viewing will be held for two hours starting at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 24, 2010. The funeral will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday morning, January 25, 2010. Mary will be buried at the Santa Fe National Cemetery located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Monday afternoon at 1 p.m., January 25, 2010.
