SERNA -- Flora G.Serna, 91, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque went home peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2010. Ms. Serna is preceded in death by her parents; Francisco Garcia and Josephine Salazar, her husband Demas Serna, three brothers; Sam, Benny and Phillipe and three sisters; Adelina, Maria and Eloisa. She is survived by one brother-in-law, Albert B. Lucero, and several nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews. A Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2010 with the reciting of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the 8th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial is will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at San Ignacio Catholic Church, Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
