BLAIN -- Inez Lucille (Rice) Blain passed away peacefully after a short illness on Saturday, January 16, her 85th birthday. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rex; infant son, Douglas; two infant grandsons; and all nine of her brothers; and sisters. She is survived by her two sons, Dennis and his wife Christine, their sons, Neil and Andrew, his children Isabella and Allister; and Jack and his wife, Brenda, their children Jennifer, her daughters, Kayleen and Jestyna; Jarrett and his son, Nicholas Ray; and Cpl. Brian; and her devoted and beloved niece, Linda Simons and husband Jim; and a host of other nieces and nephews. She was born in Brewster, Kansas and married Rex in 1941 and they moved to Albuquerque in 1952. They worked for many years at Automotive Electric. Her home on Carlos Court was a haven of fun, great stories and even better cooking. She moved into Camino Retirement Home where she made many friends among the staff and residents. She was a member of Sandia Baptist Church. Inez was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, friend and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Memorial Service will be at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution Avenue NE on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be in Goodland, Kansas.
