WINN -- Carrie Mae Winn, 96, was called to heaven on Thursday, January 7, 2010. She died peacefully at home. Carrie was born January 1, 1914, in Huntsdale, Missouri, and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1943. She is survived by daughter, Wilma Cox and son, Richard Winn (Hendrika); grandchildren, Renda Medrano (Ron), Forrest Wood (Staci), Quintin Cox (Ruth), Steven Winn (Heather), Michael Winn, Shawna Chavira (Steven); great-grandchildren, Amber Ortega (JD), Kayla and Jenni Wood and their mother, Tina, Jory and Cassidy Cox, Justyn Winn, Steven and Samantha Chavira; great-great-grandchildren, Robert and Kylie Frazier and Diego Ortega. She was preceded in death by husband Jack, daughter, Jacqueline Wood Newton, parents, Lilburn and Bessie Elder Perkins, two sons-in-law, seven brothers and six sisters.
