SIEVERS -- JOHN NEWMAN SIEVERS A devoted husband, father, son and brother full of compassion, love, and humor passed away December 26. 2009. Born on August 24, 1952 in San Antonio, TX, John received his BA from The College of Wooster in Ohio and his MBA from Northwestern University in IL. His distinguished career began at UNM's Bureau of Business and Economic Research and included service as President of Southern New England Telephone and most recently as owner and President of Earmark. John also provided invaluable service to his community, serving as a board member at Trinity Lutheran Church as well as serving as Chairman at the Soundview YMCA. He was preceded in death by his father, William; and his sister, Nancy Cheryl. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife, Paula; his daughter, Catelin and her fiance, Chris Fee of Hamden, CT; his daughter, Hilary of Hamden, CT; his mother, Jean of Oro Valley, AZ; his sister, Sharon Volak and her husband, Tom of Scottsdale, AZ; his sister, Suzanne Boyd and her husband Jay, their children Stephanie Gehres and her husband Shaun and their children Kellan and Kai; and Edward Boyd and his daughter Karina, all of Albuquerque, N.M.; and loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
