GARDNER -- Harold Gardner, 91, passed away peacefully with his wife at his bedside on Saturday, November 28, 2009. Harold served through the "Battle of the Bulge" in Belgium with the 87th Infantry Division in the Army. Harold was awarded both the BRONZE STAR MEDAL and THE MEDAL OF FRANCE. He married his wife, Ann, on January 9, 1943. Together they have three children, Lois Seibel and husband, John; Terry Gardner and wife, Janet; and Robert Gardner and wife, June; four grandchildren, Michael Seibel and wife, Shari, Leigh Mater and husband, Rob, Shannon Sanders and husband, Michael, and Tracy Campagnano and husband, Chris; along with five great-grandchildren, John, Abigail and Joseph Seibel, Ryan Mater and Nico Campagnano. The family would like to thank the staff at Albuquerque Heights Rehab and the staff of Hospice of the Sandias for their continued support and care given to Harold. Harold will be cremated and a Memorial Service is pending.
