SANCHEZ -- Christopher Gillie Sanchez, age 53, a life time resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on November 4, 2009. He was born January 21, 1956 to Gillie and Louise (LeDoux) Sanchez. Chris graduated from Del Norte High School in 1974, afterwards he went on to obtain Bachelors degree of Science, in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle in 1984. Christopher proudly served his Country for six years in the Navy where he toured the Mediterranean and the Orient. He is survived by his mother, Louise Sanchez; brother, Mike Sanchez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his sisters, Catherine Sanchez Trottier and husband Gary of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Janet Sanchez Muenz of Albuquerque; nieces, Tracey Trottier of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Alicia Muenz of Albuquerque; nephew, Sean Trottier of Colorado Springs, Colorado; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Gillie Sanchez; brother-in-law, Steve Muenz. A visitation will be held, Sunday, November 8, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m., both at Daniels Family Funeral Services-Carlisle Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont Avenue NE with Interment following at Sandia Memory Gardens; 9500 San Pedro NE in Albuquerque.
