BANDONI -- Joseph John Bandoni (Beppe) a life long resident of Albuquerque went to his heavenly home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2009. Joseph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife Frances; his children Vivian Summey and husband Richard of Dallas, TX, Gail Corondoni and husband Chris of Burbank, CA, David Smithson, Les Smithson and wife Kristine of Kennesaw, GA, Debra Johansson and husband Peter, and Anna Ahlgren; grandchildren Joshua Summey and wife Erin, Andrew Summey and wife Carla, Timothy Summey and wife Rachel, Alexander Corondoni, Isabelle Rothbard and husband Bill, Vivian Janzen and husband David, Melissa Katerman and husband Jason, Jonathan Brothers, Jason Smithson, Amanda Giannini, Jennifer Duffy and husband Eduardo, Stephanie Morales and husband Nicolas, Bryan Smithson, Kimberly Brothers, Jacob Giannini, Sara Ahlgren and Steven Ahlgren; great-grandchildren Benjamin, Noam, Eden, Liora, Luke, Lowell, Isabella, and Lola. Joseph was preceded in death by his grandson Richard. Joseph served his country in the Philippines during WWII and survived the Bataan Death March. Joseph's joys in life were his beloved family, his many friends and his devotion to the Catholic Church. He will be especially remembered for the way he contributed his time and talent to help whenever needed. A Rosary will be recited Friday, November 6, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar and Sons Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish. A private interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
