MONTOYA -- Carlos M. Montoya, 84, passed away suddenly at his home and now rejoices with his heavenly family. He was preceded in death by his parents Ignacio and Delfina Montoya; and his wife of over 50 years, Ciria S. Montoya; his daughter Regina Montoya; siblings Avelina Apodaca, Cesar Montoya, Dimas Caraballo, Acacio Montoya, Tranquelino Montoya and Jose Montoya. He is survived by his son, Patrick Montoya and wife Marilyn; siblings, Victoria Armijo and husband, Ernest, Tony Montoya and wife, Vera, Roy Montoya, Albert Montoya, Sylvia Garcia and husband, Lorenzo, and Johnny Montoya; two grandchildren, Jerry Reeder and wife, Janet, and Lori Edney; four grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Salazar and Sons Mortuary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
