IMBERT -- Martha Jones Imbert, 92, passed away on October 23, 2009. She is survived by her son John J. Imbert, III and wife Barbara of Homestead, FL, son Martin H. Imbert and wife Beverly of Albuquerque, NM; grandson Christopher Imbert of Albuquerque, grandson Joshua Imbert of Port Saint Lucie, FL; granddaughter Kelly Eifert of Columbia, SC; great-granddaughters Lauren and Taylor Imbert of Port Saint Lucie, FL; and great-grandson Seth Eifert of Columbia, SC. Martha was born and raised in Alexander, AR, joined the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) in 1943. At the end of WWII, she married her husband of 62 years John J. Imbert, Jr. (recently deceased). She was a stay at home mom in Virginia Beach, VA , they retired to Roswell, NM 21 years ago, and recently moved to Albuquerque. Services are planned at a later date at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
