LOPEZ -- Arsenio G. Lopez 1931 - 2009. Arsenio G. Lopez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He passed away on October 14, 2009. He was born and raised in Los Padillas NM. Resided in Casa Colorada for the last eighteen years. He is survived by his wife Josephine and his children Dora and her husband Dennis Drinkwater, Jose, Arsenio Jr. and his wife Grace, Nester and his wife Beth, Micheal, Frances and her husband Rebel Glass; Grandchildren are Leeann and Cynthia Lopez, Shauntiea and Atreyu Glass, Tiffany Hambay, Micheal II, Martin Sedillo Lopez and Jaclyn Logan; Great-grandchildren are Trent Logan and Dominic Vincente Lopez; His sisters are Annie Contreras, and Lupe and her husband Johnny Baca with numerous nieces and nephews. Arsenio was a well decorated soldier who served his country in the United States Army in Korea. He was a long-time member of the American Legion Post 13 in Albuquerque where he loved to dance. He also loved to play cards and listen to Spanish and oldies music. He will greatly be missed by all. Viewing of Arsenio will take place at Rock of Salvation Center. 1835 Coors Blvd SW at 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Followed by a mass. Monday October 19, 2009. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery with full Military Honors on Tuesday October 20, 2009. Pallbearers will be his sons Damacio, Jr, Nestor, Micheal and Rebel, grandson Atreyu. Along with Micheal Conant. The flag will be folded by two nephews Johnny Baca Jr. and Delfinio Baca. They both also served our country in the Military. All arrangements were handled by Riverside Funeral Home of Belen, with Robert C. Noblin, Jr.
