PADILLA -- Gilbert "Chop" Padilla, age 67, a life long resident of Manzano, NM, passed away, Monday, October 5, 2009. He was a very loving, full of life and fun person. Gilbert is survived by seven brothers and two sisters, Florencio Padilla and wife Isabel, Ernesto Padilla and wife Martha, Manuel Padilla, David O. Padilla, Albert Padilla, Candido Padilla and wife Graciella, Tommy Padilla and wife Alicia, Betty Sedillo, and MaryLou Sedillo and husband Marcos; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Gilbert will be greatly missed by all. A Rosary will be recited Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Manzano, NM, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at El Composanto Cemetery, in Manzano, NM.
