CARRILLO -- Aristeo C. Carrillo Sr., 98, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on October 2, 2009, with his loving family at his side. Mr. Carrillo is survived by his children, Aris Carrillo Jr. and wife, Gloria, Cathy Griego and husband, Leo, Erma Sanchez and husband, Robert, Gilbert Carrillo and wife, Liz, and Yvonne Chavez; his sister, Amelia Esquibel and husband, Pat; ten grand children; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins and friends. Mr. Carrillo was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Carrillo; and his brother, Esequiel Carrillo. Mr. Carrillo was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6, 2009, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., by Mrs. Martha Herrera. Final visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2009, (Mr. Carrillo's 99th birthday), from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mario Chavez, Marcos Chavez, David Carrillo, Stephen Griego, Brian Carrillo and Chuck Easterling.
