ARGEANAS -- Theodore "Ted" Argeanas, born December 22, 1952 in Albuquerque, N.M. passed away on October 1, 2009 following an illness. Ted attended schools in Albuquerque and worked in the family's auto parts store for over 25 years. Ted is survived by his son, Michael Argeanas, and step-children, Rose and Joe Chapa and their mother Patricia Argeanas. Also surviving are his parents, Mike and Anna Argeanas, brother Alex and wife Betsy of Albuquerque, and sister, Sia Raymondi and husband Rick of Boise, Idaho. Niece Anne Marie Raymondi, nephews, Rick and Mike Raymondi and Cooper Argeanas. Ted will be missed by special friends, Boyd McKinney of Green River, Wyoming, and Steve Vatseou of Albuquerque. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his generosity and humor. Ted enjoyed traveling and fishing New Mexico lakes. Ted was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. A Trisagion will be held Monday, October 5, 2009, at French, Lomas Chapel at 7 p.m. Services will be Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High Street S.E. 87102, at 11:00 a.m., with Father Paul Patitsas officiating. Pallbearers will be Pete Rallis, Tom Argeanas, Joe Chapa, Boyd McKinney, Steve Vatseow and Rick Raymondi. Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Kapnison, Gus Capels, Ted Argeanas, Zack Niforos, Albuquerque and Ted Argeanas of Anthony. Special thanks are extended to the Physicians and Nurses of the Medical Intensive Care Unit, UNM Hospital, for their care and concern for Ted and his family. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
