SISK -- Della Mae Sisk, 85, went to be with our Lord September 17, 2009, after a long battle with cancer. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 47 years, Daniel T. Sisk; daughter Dianne Lee Wright; and long time companion Timothy Peltier. She was born May 17, 1924 in Denver, Colorado to Chester and Myrtle Clay. She grew up in Gallup, NM where she meet and married her sweetheart Daniel. They moved to Albuquerque in 1948 and raised their two daughters. She helped her husband run a motel and later they owned a restaurant and lounge. She is survived by her daughter Penny A. Treharn and husband John; grandsons Sam Wood, Troy Treharn and wife Rebecca, Lyle Wood; granddaughter Dannella Haney. She had five great-grandchildren Heather Treharn, Colton Treharn, Sam Wood Jr., James and Melina. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, who was very loving and caring and touched all of our lives. Mother dearest, your family loves you deeply and will never forget you. Rest in peace, and no more suffering. God Bless You. There will be a viewing at 12:00 p.m. and Life Celebration Service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE).
