SANDOVAL -- Margaret Ann Napier Sandoval, August 6, 1937 - September 12, 2009, 72, long time resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico,passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at LoveLace Hospice Albuquerque. Funeral services will be done by Direct Funeral Service, Albuquerque New Mexico. No showing or visit at funeral home, per Margaret's wishes, were for a direct Cremation after death notification. She was preceeded by her late husband Tony Sandoval. Margaret was born on August 6,1937, in Decatur Illinois. She is survived by her loving daughters, Theresa A. Williams of Willingboro NJ, Deborah R. Rodriquez of Colorado Springs,CO, Celeste D. Carver and son-in-law James D. Carver, of Fort Lewis WA. Margaret was also survived by several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Nicholas Williams, Bryan Williams, James Defrates, Maria Defrates, Thomas Defrates, Morey Rodriquez, Patrick and Denise Cooper-Carpenter, Selena Carpenter, Dylan Carpenter, Colton Carpenter, Harold and Jennifer Graff, Cooper Graff and William W. Cooper 4th; Margaret's dearest friend who was like a sister to her for over 15 years, is Jeanette Sanchez and her son Fernando Venzor, of Albuquerque, NM. Jeanette had a wonderful relationship with Margaret. They worked together at the Soup and Salad for several years. Margaret and Jeanette hung out together and did shopping, celebrating holidays, and special occassions. They became a close little family. She was also preceeded by two other very special friends as well, Sarah and Buddy Quetone of Albuquerque. Of whom they had a friendship for over 35 years. Sarah and Margaret worked together at General Electric in Albuquerque. Sarah and Margaret's children went to the same schools and grew up being friends. In Margaret's early years of employment she worked for the Dept.Of Defense as a Civilian, doing Secretary or Receptionist work for the Government. Other jobs included Cheveron on Zuni, Sandwich Shop at the University of NM. Margaret also worked for the Symphony Orchestra of NM. and Volunteered her time and services to St. Joseph Hospital, Pediatric's Party Programs to help the children of the Ronald McDonald House. Margaret was a long time member of Highland Baptist Church in Albuquerque. She is also survived her beautiful bird Lister, who is in good care of her friend Jeanette. Margaret,loved to collect every and all Dalmation dogs, that was a true hobby of hers and Elvis Clocks. Margaret was a sincere and dedicated hard working individual. There was never a day that she didn't volunteer her time to helping out with some type of organization or her friends or family. We will all be thankful and treasure the wonderful moments that Margaret has given to each and everyone of us. Her Love, Her kindness, Her Joy, Her Heart. You will never be forgotten and you will always be in our hearts. We Love you Mom, and Margaret.
