CRISPIN -- Celine Aurora Crispin, 89, passed from this life peacefully Wednesday evening, September 2, 2009, at her home in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Crispin on May 19, 2009; her father, former NM Secretary of State, Manuel Martinez; mother, Juanita F. Martinez; sister, Alice Romero; and her brothers, Judge Rafael M. Martinez and Arnold Martinez. Celine is survived by her children, Joe E. Crispin (Tina) of Lake Elizabeth, CA, Jeneane Schneider (Cal) of St. Charles, MO, and Kathryn Clark (Dean) of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren, Joey Crispin (Chrissy), Mauree Hamilton (Brownie), Rohn Engh, Michelle Wallace (Dave), Tracy Claflin (Jim) and their mother, Anna Marie Crispin, Vanessa Peralta (Chris) and her mother, Margie Ings, Kimberly Schneider, Joy Bouton (Kim), Kyle Schneider, Brendan Clark, Kevin Clark and Tony Crispin; 16 great-grandchildren, Jack, Haley, Ronin, Aubrianna, Kade, Mikailin, Devon, Marcus, Emilio, Lily, Amanda, Justin, Lindsey, Sayra, Jami, and Loren; niece and Goddaughter, Patty Alfred (Jerry) of Llano, CA; nephew, Pat Martinez of Llano, CA, and many other friends and family. Celine was born in Harding County in 1919. She and Joe lived for many years in Santa Fe, NM, where she worked for St. Vincent Hospital and the State of New Mexico. They retired and moved to Albuquerque in 1989. She will be remembered for the loving, kindness, generosity, and humor she brought to family gatherings, her garden, her pets and her kitchen. May her beloved St. Theresa continue to watch over her through eternity. "We love you more forever." A rosary will be recited Monday, September 7, 2009, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 8, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE. Pallbearers will be Joey Crispin, Rohn Engh, Kyle Schneider, Tony Crispin, Brendan Clark, Kevin Clark, Marcus Bouton and Devon Bouton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Miguel Gandert (Godson) and Jerry Alfred. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo Del Norte.
