SHEETS -- Mariana Serna Sheets, 79, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009. She was born September 19, 1929, a daughter of Adenago and Margarita Serna. Survivors include one son and one daughter, Ted and wife, Christina Sheets of Albuquerque, and Lydia and husband, Margarito Corona of Las Cruces; daughter-in-law, Angela Hinnen; grandchildren, Elaina, Tomas, Maria, Margaret, Nikki, and Josh; great-grandchildren, Nohely, Isabel, and Andres; two sisters and two brothers, Louisa, Steve, Betty, and Floreno. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon W. Sheets; and one son, Herman A. Sheets. The Holy Rosary will be recited Thursday, August 6, 2009, 7:30 p.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 7, 2009, 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
