SANCHEZ -- Sebastiana H. Sanchez passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the age of 98. She raised six children by herself after the death of her husband. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Maria Sanchez; parents, Ignacio and Aurelia Herrera; sons, Benito and Juan; two daughters-in-law, Loretta Sanchez and Belia (Bea) Sanchez; three grandchildren, Angela and Gary Young and Juanita Sanchez. She is survived by her children Priscilla Young and husband, Gary, Gomecindo Sanchez, Maria Blasita Anderson and husband, James, and Modesto Sanchez and wife, Phyllis; daughter-in-law, Theresa Sanchez; grandchildren, Melisa Spaeth, Lisa Thompson, James Kevin Anderson, Ricky, Jimmy and Adrianna Sanchez, Ignacio and Christopher Sanchez, David Modesto and Wendi Sanchez, Rubyann Beatty, and Patricia Oglesbee; 18 great-granchildren; brother, Clodovio Herrera; sisters, Benerita Nieto and Dora Martinez; and numerous extended family members and friends. A Rosary for Mrs. Sanchez will be recited on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Funeral Services will be held on Friday also at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Spaeth, James Kevin Anderson, Ricky Sanchez, Ignacio David Sanchez, Antonio Sanchez and David Modesto Sanchez.
