GARCIA -- Philip Garcia was born May 14, 1931 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, he passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the age of 78. Philip was preceded in death by his mother and father, Manuelita Perea Garcia and Santiago Garcia and by his daughter, Yvonne Garcia and his son, Johnny Garcia. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Jane Montoya of Albuquerque, Phyllis Montez and husband Tom of Pueblo, CO, Geraldine Garcia of Denver, CO, Barbara Garcia of Albuquerque, NM; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A Communion Service will be celebrated at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 10:00am. Private family burial will follow at a later time.
