GEDANIC -- Joseph B. Gedanic, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died July 27, 2009, three days short of his 86th birthday. Joe followed politics closely and loved watching sports, especially tennis. He was a tinkerer and had a wry sense of humor. Elaine, his beloved wife of 54 years, survives him. Also his daughters Laure Sinclair and husband, Steve of Dallas, TX, Daly Gedanic Shuster and husband, Jeff, of Albuquerque, Eve Gedanic and husband, Steve Raugust, of Albuquerque, and Alison Schultz and husband, Stephen, of Long Beach, CA; and six grandchildren. A family picnic celebrating his life will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009. The family requests donations to the Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
