RICHARDSON -- Robert Lee "Bob" Richardson, 85, went to heaven July 10, 2009 to join his beloved wife Ruth, loving mother to his children, wonderful grandmother to his grandchildren. Mr. Richardson longed to be with Ruth which he mentioned many times, not complaining, just gently reminding his family. Bob was a man whose strong faith in God and strong morals and values leaves behind a living legacy for his children and family. He was a gentle, strong and quiet man, a friend to those he met. Mr. Richardson is survived by his daughters Teri King and Jana Barker; grandchildren, Crystal Abbate and husband Joseph, Michael King and wife Jennifer, Cole and Emilee Barker. Mr. Richardson is also survived by his great-grandchildren Joseph, Jackson and Connor as well as his sister Jo Ann Cowie and husband Sandy and numerous other family and friends. Bob was also preceded in death by his parents Broadus and Minnie and his brother Jackie. He retired from Creamland Dairies and his strong work ethic will forever be remembered by those who knew him. After Cremation, a Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2009 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
