DOTY -- Faith Marie Miller March 6, 1957 - June 26, 2009 The rose that lives its little hour. Is prized beyond the sculpted flower. - Bryant Our rose, Faith Marie Miller Doty has gone home to be with the Lord. Faith is survived by the love of her life, Ernest Doty Sr.; her treasured daughter Courtney Marie Miller; stepchildren Lavinia Brannan and Ernest L. Doty Jr.; her loving sisters, Kathy Rhoades, Dawn Pasternacki, Brenda Romero, Julie Gipson, and their families; fathers Jerald Rhoades, his lovely wife Naty, Roy Howard; her sister of the heart, Pat Schneider; along with a great many more family and friends. Faith was preceded in death by her cherished son Travis Wayne Miller; her dear mother Joan Rhoades; and her sisters Christann Marie Rhoades and Debbie Kalm. Faith's passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her and she will be remembered and missed for her independent spirit and her great capacity to love everyone who came into her life. Although we will mourn and grieve her passing, we know that our Faith is in a far better place where there are no more sorrows and no more tears. Her family and many friends have all been touched by the sweetness and joy that she brought to our lives. Faith loved to dance, loved her dogs Bambi and Tweaker, her birds and her turtles. Faith loved the outdoors, camping, boating, working on cars with Ernie, riding motorcycles, enjoying her house and spending time with family and friends.
