WATSON -- Billy Wayne Watson, 62, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on June 11, 2009. Mr. Watson was born on June 29, 1946 to Bracy Watson and Bessie N. Mims of Wichita Falls, TX. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie N. Mims; and a sister, Eberley Joyce Perry. He is survived by his brother, Reginald Alexander of Atlanta, GA; and sister, Deinna Mims-Johnson of Grand Prairie, TX; and aunt Helen Brown of Los Angeles, CA. He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. During his military service, he was a Purple Heart Recipient. Mr. Watson was also a member of the Elks Club. A viewing and Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2009 from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave SE. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., also, in the Palm Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave SE, with Rev. N. D. Smith, officiating.
