PINON -- Louisa A. Pinon, our loving "Mom" and "Gram" was born April 24, 1944 in Dawson, New Mexico. She passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Louisa was raised in Cimarron, New Mexico and was a longtime resident of Albuquerque. She will be remembered as a loving mother to her family, as well as many other people including, Isa, Ramona, Rose and Georgine. Louisa had a great sense of humor and she enjoyed crocheting. She loved to cook, she loved butterflies, but most of all, she loved to spend time with her beloved family. Louisa was preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin and Audelia Martinez; her husbands, Danny Sanchez and Ramon Pinon; her son, Daniel Sanchez and her daughter, Dee Sanchez. She is survived by her mother-in-law, Celia Sanchez; her three daughters, Connie Sanchez, Teresa Sanchez and husband Jesus Acosta and Micah Sanchez; one sister, Helen Sena; two sisters-in-law, Carmen Castillo and Priscilla Abeyta; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Louisa is also survived by her longtime family members, Rochelle Chavez, Debbie and Lynn Flores. A private family Rosary was recited . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW., on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery, off of Coors and Arenal SW.
