PIPER -- Charlotte Charlotte Lewis Piper 1922 - 2009 Charlotte Lewis Piper was born in Emporia, Kansas, on November 1, 1922, and passed away in Aurora, Colorado on May 20, 2009. Charlotte resided in Albuquerque from 1948 - 1999. She was a Professor at the University of New Mexico for more than 30 years. Charlotte is survived by her spouse of 63 years, John R. Piper, three children, Bronwyn Schuetze, Jon Piper, and Kimberlee Powelson, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A celebration of Charlotte's life will be held on June 18, 2009, at Heritage Eagle Bend Country Club, Aurora, Colorado, where she and her husband have resided for the past ten years.
