LUCERO -- Fedelina Lucero, 75, passed away peacefully , on May 14, 2009, with family at her side after a long battle with Parkinson's. Fedelina was born June 11, 1933 in Tome, NM to Ventura and Manuelita Sanchez. She is survived by her children Robert Lucero and his wife Debora; Barbara Taddy and her husband Silvio; Brenda Valencia and her husband James; Benerito Jr.; Verna Tercero and her husband Gilbert; Dolores Lucero-Garcia and her husband Glenn Garcia; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters Flora and Anita Sanchez of Tome, NM and one brother Bences Sanchez of CA. Fedelina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Benerito; her beloved son, James; four brothers, Tony, Gene, Phil, and Milton Sanchez; grandson, Jousha; and great-grandaughter Adrianna. Fedelina was a devoted mother and grandmother whose unconditional love will remain with her family forever. Visitation was held Monday, May 18, 2009 at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary following. Funeral Mass was on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior with Burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
