PLATERO -- Carol S. Platero, 75, a resident of Tohajiilee, New Mexico, passed away on May 11, 2009. Mrs. Platero is survived by her beloved husband of fifty years, Mr. Burton Platero; her children, Tommy A. Secatero and girlfriend, Geneva Piaso, Darrell D. Platero, Veronica E. Platero-Tom and husband, Lorenzo, Minga U. Platero-Dreyer and husband, Mark; her sister, Berna Piaso; her nine grandchildren, Tammy, Tommy, Karry, Brandon, Arleen, Melissa, Emily, Stephanie and Nathaniel; seven great-grandchildren; and many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation for Mrs. Platero will be Saturday, May 16, 2009 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Secatero Family Plot in Tohajiilee, NM.
