SANCHEZ -- Tomasita Sanchez, 96, passed away April 19, 2009. She was born May 21, 1912 in Jarales, NM to Ramon and Eusebia Sanchez. She is survived by her four children, Sylvia Griego (Cole), Theresa Halpern, Patricia Dalla, Raymond Sanchez (Teresa); 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Bennie Sanchez and Bernard Sanchez; one sister, Helen Apodaca; and many other family members. Tomasita is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Martin Sanchez; two sons, Richard and John Sanchez; three sisters, Della Maes, Carmen Baldonado, Mary Lou Anaya; five brothers, Ramon, Paul, Ernest, Manuel and Sam Sanchez. She was a lifetime resident of New Mexico and a member of Our Lady of Belen, Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, and of the Catholic Daughters. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Visitation will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rosary following at 3:00 p.m. Mass will be held at Our Lady of Annunciation, Thursday, April 23, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be given in Tomasita's honor to St. Vincent de Paul, through Our Lady of Annunciation. Pallbearers will be Andrew, Cameron, Tyler, Cody, Clayton, and Raymond Paul. Honorary pallbearer, Justin.
