Lizardo married Celina Chavez on April 19, 1952 in San Miguel County, NM. He was employed at King Brothers Ranch for 25, years then retired from the City of Moriarty after 13 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Moriarty, NM. He is survived by his wife, Celina; children, Bernie and Susan Encinias, Moriarty; NM; Kathy Encinias and Pat Oberg, Elephant Butte, NM; Barbara and Ereneo Salas, Moriarty, NM, Anthony and Roxie Encinias, Moriarty, NM, Jacob Encinias, Moriarty, NM, Maria Bourassa, Albuquerque, NM, Carmen and Mike Jones, Edgewood, NM, Susie and C.J. Lizardo was a loving grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Segundo and Catalina; son, Johnny Encinias; and infant Lorencita; brothers, Victor, Amadeo, Frank and Pete. There will be two Rosaries, on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM at 7:00 p.m., and on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM with Fr. Kevin Iwuoha officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers Miguel Salas, Antonio Encinias, Lance and Shawn Bourassa, Travis Jones, Raymond Encinias, Adan Encinias, and Ruben Encinias.
