PADILLA -- Dalia Padilla, 86, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and pal departed from us to take up residence with the Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Her name was Dalia or better known as "Nini". She is survived by her children, Robert A. Padilla and wife, Louise, Rosalie Baca and husband, David; nephew, Randy Bustamante; grandchildren, Tracey Bodhaine and husband, Kyle, Trish Follingstad and husband, Jason, Dominic Padilla, Anthony Padilla and Shannon Carpenter, Sandy Sollien and husband, Jesse; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Arlene Green, Corrine Sisneros and brother, Abe. She was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Church. A Rosary will be recited Monday, April 13, 2009, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 14, 2009, 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. N.W.
