MONTOYA -- LeeRoy George Montoya, 61, born September 9, 1947 passed away peacefully on to our Lord on February 23, 2009 after a short illness. As a US Marine, LeeRoy was a Vietnam veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clorinda Padilla Montoya and Marcelino Montoya. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Veronica Salas Montoya; daughters Vivian Grajeda and husband Carlos, Valerie Baca and son Vincent Montoya and wife Maria; brothers Max Montoya and wife Lorraine, Michael Montoya; sister Linda Campbell and husband Bill; four grandchildren, Abrian, Brianna, Tricia and Bella; and countless nieces and nephews. Committal Services will be held Thursday February 26, 2009 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Bill Campbell, Carlos Grajeda, Abrian Montoya, Pat Reagan, Marcelino Montoya and Gerard Martinez.
